Illinois Evidence Rules, Courtroom Quick Reference, Now

With the release of Illinois Evidence Rules, Courtroom Quick Reference, attorneys in Illinois have a new legal reference book that can be used in the courtroom, chambers, office or at home. This book contains the complete Illinois Rules of Evidence, effective January 1, 2012 (and current with all 2012 amendments), the Federal Rules of Evidence, effective December 1, 2011, and the Traditional Federal Rules of Evidence, effective through November 30, 2011.

The Federal Rules of Evidence are the fourth set of federal rules to be restyled as part of what is known as “The Style Project.” Many of the changes in the restyled Federal Rules of Evidence result from the effort to use formatting to make the meaning and application of the federal court rules clearer. The rules have been broken down into progressively indented subparagraphs with headings and a hanging indent outline structure. Official commentary details the changes in the restyled rules. The inclusion of the Traditional Federal Rules of Evidence as well as the Restyled Federal Rules of Evidence in Illinois Evidence Rules, Courtroom Quick Reference allows quick and painless cross-referencing for those accustomed to the old evidence rules.

Illinois Evidence Rules is available in print format on Amazon and the Publisher’s website. Each set of rules in this title contains a highly detailed index for the convenience of the user and is presented in a single column format with larger typeface for improved readability. Illinois Evidence Rules is also available as an ebook on iTunes for Apple users, as a NOOK Book on Barnes & Noble, as a Kindle edition on Amazon, in epub for Adobe Digital Editions format on Lulu.com and in PDFs on Summit Legal Publishing’s website. The ebook version of this title features a linked table of contents and side navigation panes, making it simple to find what you need quickly and easily.
