Blues legend Lucky Peterson's first live DVD - out on Oct 19th, 2012

The German music label Blackbird Music will release blues legend Lucky Peterson's first Live DVD. The DVD entitled "The Lucky Peterson Band feat. Tamara Peterson live at the 55 Arts Club Berlin" will be in stores worldwide on Oct 19th, 2012. It includes a two and a half hours lasting concert - filmed and recorded in March 2012. Lucky performs side by side with his wife Tamara and his band consisting of Shawn Kellerman on guitar, Tim Waites on bass and Raul Valdes on drums. In addition the DVD features numerous extras such as interview and behind the scene footage. In parallel, the concert will also be available on CD.

Born Judge Kenneth Peterson in 1963, Lucky Peterson was taken under the wing of the legendary Willie Dixon at the young age of three. Just five years old he recorded his first album, one year later he appeared on television shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and What’s My Line. Next to a row of studio productions – he took part in over 300 albums. With his gospel, funk and soul enriched blues he won the Grand Prix du Disque (the French Grammy) as Best Blues Album of the Year and was nominated by the Blues Foundation for the Blues Music Award in the category of the Best Acoustic Blues Album of the Year. Chicago's Illinois Entertainer announced it as: “Perhaps the most moving and innovative blues CD of the year.”
