Global LNG Buyers & Sellers Meet at the World LNG Series: Asia Pacific Summit in Singapore
The spotlight continues on the Asia Pacific LNG market, with demand from the traditional LNG buyers, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan remaining high plus China and India and other new markets increasing their LNG regas capacity. The question remains – how will the supply and demand balance look in the next three years, amid new supply projects coming on stream and changing energy policies in importing countries?This question and others will be analysed by LNG buyers and sellers from around the globe when they meet at the 4th CWC World LNG Series: Asia Pacific Summit, on 10-13 September 2012 in Singapore.
Through a line-up of renowned international speakers, the Summit offers participants the chance to identify new opportunities in the region from companies including: BG Group, BP, Qatargas , NWS Australia LNG, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Apache, Chevron, STREAM , Chubu Electric, Cheniere, Singapore LNG, GDF Suez LNG, Nusantara Regas, GAIL, Total E&P Australia, Shell, PLN and Golar LNG. The Summit is also supported by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore and Energy Market Authority.
The Summit also offers unrivalled networking opportunities. This year sees the first CWC Asia Pacific LNG Innovation Award Gala Dinner, held at the world-famous Raffles Hotel. The evening will be a celebration of excellence in the industry with fantastic entertainment, special guest speakers and the presentation of the Award. In addition to this, there will be a Welcome Drinks Reception hosted by BG Group and the opportunity to tour the North West Sandpiper LNG Tanker at the Sembawang Shipyard plus lunches and coffee breaks hosted by Yemen LNG, Mozambique LNG and ABS.
