New America Power Makes Energy Deal for Shopping Centers in 4 States

Philadelphia — Lonnie Barish of New America Power announced today a two-year partnership with Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE: AKR), a REIT specializing in the acquisition, redevelopment and operation of retail and urban mixed-use properties, to act as their energy procurement consultant.

New America Power will create and implement an energy plan for shopping centers in four states totaling 1,919,828 square feet of space. The plan will aim to achieve greater cost savings through energy procurement that will reduce the properties’ energy investments.
