Hicks Thomas & Lilienstern Home to Five of Texas’ Top Young Lawyers
HOUSTON – The Houston law firm of Hicks Thomas & Lilienstern, LLP, is pleased to announce that five firm attorneys have been named to the 2007 listing of Texas Rising Stars.Partner Matthew C. Rawlinson and associates January Barker, John J. Deis, Andrew K. Meade and Allen H. Rustay earned slots on this year’s list based on their work in business litigation.
This is the fourth time Mr. Rawlinson and Mr. Deis have been named to the prestigious list, and the third time for Mr. Meade.
The Rising Stars list is based on nominations from members of the elite Texas Super Lawyers list. Those included in the Rising Stars list are the top up-and-coming Texas attorneys who are 40 or younger or have been in practice for fewer than 10 years. Only 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys were chosen for this honor.

In addition to the five attorneys on the Rising Stars list, the firm also is home to seven attorneys included in the 2006 listing of Texas Super Lawyers.
The Rising Stars list appears in the April 2007 issue of Texas Monthly magazine and Texas Rising Stars magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly magazine and Law & Politics Media, Inc.
