This collaboration will strengthen the emerging technology solutions portfolio of NXP Semiconductors.
-In December 2018, STMicroelectronics launched two new image sensors for automotive driver monitoring. These image sensors will enhance the monitoring of passengers or drivers by capturing scenes from the camera, which will eliminate random external effects such as street lighting or sunlight. These images will help assess passenger comfort and the driver’s attention. These newly developed MEMS sensors will give better positioning to STMicroelectronics's automotive shutter technology.
