In readiness for the school summer holidays a Bournemouth hotel has organised an exciting programme of entertainment especially for children.

Throughout the month of August there will be an hour of entertainment from 6.30pm, Monday to Friday - at Best Western The Connaught Hotel. The entertainers will be performing for children staying at the hotel.

The performers have been chosen for their originality and inventiveness. All based locally to Bournemouth they include Andy Cadabra, Mr Whizz, Crusty the Clown and John Brett. The original and imaginative performances cover magic and general entertainment. Although designed for children the entertainers are also enjoyed by adults with audience participation encouraged!

The Connaught Hotel’s Managing Director, David Miller, says, “We launched the children’s entertainment hour last year and it was very well received by our guests. It adds a bit of fun for the children and their parents enjoy the opportunity to wind down from the day or get ready for the evening safe in the knowledge that their children are happily occupied”. He adds, “Having said that the majority of parents tend to stay for the performances as they enjoy them as much as the children!”
The entertainment hour will also be open to non-residents.
