First Impression Selects ROTOCONTROL RSC Slitter/Rewinder

Ahrensburg, Germany (August 1, 2012) – ROTOCONTROL today announced the receipt of another purchase order in South Africa from First Impression for a ROTOCONTROL RSC 440mm web width slitting/rewinding machine. The machine installation and operator training was completed in one day.

The ROTOCONTROL RSC series offers a full suite of features in an economical, compact machine designed to maximize operator efficiency. Features such as cartridge slitting system, vertical inspection zone, automatic tension control, S-Drive servo driven operation, job save, and simple, functional controls means more time producing labels and less time in set up.

The order was negotiated with Vaughan Cumming, Operations Director of First Impression and Pascal Aengenvoort, Director of ROTOCON, the local Agent for ROTOCONTROL throughout South Africa. “We opted for the ROTOCONTROL RSC slitter/rewinder machine as it is designed with an exceptional servo drive system, and we can count on Pascal and the ROTOCON team to provide ongoing local service and support,” comments Vaughan Cumming. “The installation was uncomplicated and after only one day of training our operator could run the machine independently.”
