Fast Track to Edge Welded Bellows
Used in various applications, e.g. as flexible sealing elements or as vibration compensating pipe connector, welded metal bellows from VAT, are high performance components with proven durability and longevity. VAT welded metal bellows are available in two versions as standard bellows, in a broad range of dimensions, materials and cleanliness levels and as custom made bellows, tailored to exact customer specifications.
The new “Quick Spec Bellows” website is designed for a fast and easy self-guided process. Effects on changes in the configuration of a bellows can be viewed immediately in a dynamic illustration function showing e.g. changes in dimensions and flanges. In case a contact to a VAT bellows specialist is needed during configuration, the site provides also a live chat function.
VAT’s welded bellows production is located in Switzerland and takes place in cleanrooms ISO class 5-8 to meet the highest requirements in term of cleanliness and quality. Design, material selection as well as state of the art laser welding production guaranty the unprecedented VAT welded metal bellows reliability and durability.
“The new service allows customers to configure and order bellows online with fast, guaranteed delivery times from the moment the order is placed,” explains Renè Hangartner, head of product management welded metal bellows at VAT. “Furthermore, customers with more complex bellows requirements have access to extended specification options to order their optimal solution. Our new service is aimed specifically at customers for whom a fast, guaranteed delivery time is important and who are prepared to submit their requirements online. Customers who like to get directly in touch with a local VAT sales representative are of course welcome to do so as well.”
