Kaba's new Kaba at the Security Essen 2012: revolving door detects explosives and drugs

Kaba showcases itself in Essen as a provider of complete solutions for integrated access management tailored to match different requirements, industries and company sizes. The focus is on the Kaba exos and Kaba evolo solutions which have been completed by additional new components such as a door-frame reader and a biometric reader and which, compared with the market, offer a unique performance range.
Another highlight presented by Kaba is a revolving door with detection of explosives and drugs. The Orthos detect revolving door reliably detects even microscopically small traces of hazardous substances or drugs. It is thus possible to check and identify passengers, employees and visitors prior to access to areas with high security standards. Airports, customs, border crossings, power stations, military and government organizations as well as computer centers benefit from this unique combination and the fully-automatic operation.
Additionally, the new Paxos advance safe lock will be presented. Providing maximum reliability and ease of use, its standard dimensions now allow combining several lock and input units to form one locking system.
In addition to the established solution for hotel chains, the new Kaba CheckIn access solution for smaller hotels and guesthouses will be introduced.
