encomit releases MyShelf ecosystem - a portable shelf for notes and pictures

encomit just released MyShelf for mobile on iPhone, iPad, and Android as well as for Desktop on Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. MyShelf adheres the wish for modern and mobile applications in conjunction with high concerns on privacy.

MyShelf is a note taking app that does not rely on cloud services. All MyShelf apps work completely independent, but can also be easily and securely synced with the Freeware MyShelf Desktop through the user's own LAN. The Android version will support cable-based sync via USB, soon.

MyShelf is a powerful database app which offers a lot of features to structure and retrieve data. It is currently able to take plain notes, pictures, links, and text snippets of any kind. Future versions are going to support other documents as well.

Due to its universal structure, MyShelf fulfills multiple use cases in one: notebook, idea store, diary, todo list, recipe book and many more.
Besides privacy aspects, syncing without Internet offers also other advantages like high sync performance (LAN speed), availability (no server downtimes), and no costs for premium-features since the app works independent.
