EKTA - Hearts Meet with Art
The current pandemic has caused emotions to run high. On the one hand, we see an economic downturn and on the other health expenses are on the rise. In a situation as unprecedented as this, where does one find solace?
Gallery Pradarshak draws on its strength of reaching out to the young and upcoming artists and is hosting this large collective. Where gloom, dejection, worry, and unhappiness prevails – art acts as a balm to the soul.
At this time, art may be the last thing on one’s purchase agenda. Yet, there are people still buying cars, celebrating birthdays and weddings, ordering food of their choice.
So, it should not be difficult for many to support the artist. This exhibition has a two-pronged approach, and aims at:
a)Giving art lovers a chance to liven up their spaces and their mindsets with art.
b)Giving several artists a chance at selling their works within a finite price range capped at Rs. 15000/-only, to cope with the crisis that they are facing.
Participants: 75+ artists -both young and upcoming, as well as established artists.
Locations:15+ pan India
Number of paintings: 200+All works of art are original paintings only.
Genres range from: Still Life, Semi-Abstract Figurative, Compositions, Abstracts to Landscapes, Cityscapes and Seascapes as well as Drawings and Graphic Prints.
Subjects: Flowers, Horses, Birds, Green fields, Puppets, Couples, Decorative, Religious icons etc. Price range: upto 15000/-only.
