Adyton System is one of the finalists of the eco Internet Awards 2012

The German manufacturer of next-generation firewalls Adyton Systems is nominated in the category security

Leipzig, Germany, July 6, 2012. Yesterday the Association of the German Internet Industry presented the awards for most innovative products as part of this year’s eco gala in Cologne. The technology company Adyton Systems, based in Leipzig, convinced the expert panel with its novel network security solution NETWORK PROTECTOR. This security gateway is currently one of the most innovative product in the ITsecurity industry.

Current attacks on corporate networks emphasize the growing importance of improved IT security solutions. Adyton Systems’ next-generation firewall persuaded the jury members with its unique technology of fullvalidation whitelisting. The firewall, developed in Leipzig, uses this principle to scan the entire network traffic and to block any data transmission that is unrecognized and not explicitly allowed by a firewall rule. This ensures protection even against zero-day attacks, for which no attack signatures are known and which are not recognized by legacy firewalls.
