fluid Operations and Vision Consulting Group Close Partnership Agreement
July 2, 2012Vision Consulting Group to offer business and IT consulting services to fluid Operations customers in Germany
Walldorf, Germany – A partnership was announced today between fluid Operations®, leading provider of cloud and data management solutions based on semantic technologies, and Vision Consulting Group, a preeminent European consulting firm focusing on ERP Solutions, Outsourcing, Business Consulting and IT Consulting. The agreement will see Vision Consulting Group deliver consulting and implementation support for customers licensing the eCloudManager™ Product Suite from fluid Operations. At first the agreement will cover customers based in Germany with the intention to later include customers from other European countries.
fluid Operations’ eCloudManager Product Suite provides both private and public cloud management and orchestration platforms, thus allowing customers to bring their enterprise to the Cloud by establishing IT as a Service in their own data centers. “We see Vision Consulting Group as a perfect fit to serve customers as they adopt the Cloud. Customers benefit from eCloudManager-based services offered by Vision Consulting Group, and have the option to deploy our cloud platform within their data center in order to build their private cloud, with the potential to extend to a hybrid model,” commented Thomas Kucher, Strategic Sales Executive Channel/Distribution at fluid Operations. Additionally, Vision Consulting Group’s pre-existing extensive involvement with fluid Operations’ eCloudManager makes it well-equipped to act as an integrator and facilitate customers’ adoption of private clouds.
Productive use of the eCloudManager since December 2010 has enabled MvB-Consulting, daughter company of Vision Consulting Group and certified SAP Hosting Service Provider, to monitor and manage its infrastructure and application resources. Furthermore, the eCloudManager has allowed MvB-Consulting to create ready-for-use SAP systems and landscapes within a few minutes. “Vision Consulting Group is a trusted partner for business consulting and for the design, development and implementation of IT services. Given their comprehensive experience with ERP Solutions and IT Consulting and our already existing relationship with their daughter company MvB-Consulting, closing this partnership was a natural step forward. We already have several joint projects in the pipeline which we are keen to start working on, now that the partnership is official, and we look forward to very successful joint results,” continued Kucher.
“Provisioning and maintaining SAP applications can be a burden and being able to automate these processes, sometimes up to 100%, allows for better, more flexible services to end customers. Combining our expertise in the SAP field with that of fluid Operations® will allow us to deliver targeted solutions for our joint customers and help them extract more value out of their SAP applications,” added Bodo Franz, Vision Consulting Group’s Head of ERP Division.
About eCloudManager Product Suite
The eCloudManager™ Product Suite offers a one-console solution for both private and public cloud management and orchestration. Providing a unified overview of all aspects of a cloud, it allows for the management and control of multiple multi-vendor hypervisors, storage systems, public clouds and enterprise applications from a single user interface. eCloudManager’s Landscape as a Service (LaaS) ™ concept for SAP enterprise applications enables organizations to maximize the utilization of their virtualization investment, as well as to deploy and manage their own private SAP cloud. The solution includes potential for advanced SAP monitoring, rapid provisioning of new SAP systems or complete SAP landscapes through a self-service portal, as well as the efficient, automated handling of the daily operations of a private enterprise cloud. By using the eCloudManager, enterprises can maximize ROI by speeding up application deployments, increasing productivity and reducing the time needed to correct problems.
