On-Demand Accounting - The Future for Accountants

06-25-2007 06:17 PM CET | Business, Economy, Finances, Banking & Insurance

Press release from: Tallia Ltd

Friday, 22nd June 2007 – 90% of Accountants see On-Demand Accounting/ERP Products being the way forward for businesses.

New research from Tallia – the new on-demand accounting system for businesses – has found that 90% of Accountants foresee that businesses want to manage their accounts via the internet in real-time by 2008.

Sending accountants your data by exporting and importing data is inefficient and time consuming and sometimes confusing for businesses. It is therefore unsurprising that one third of SMEs (33 per cent) feel that they spend too much time dealing with non-core business activities like paperwork, credit control, and statutory financial requirements.

Failure to keep on top of business accounts has been found to lead to cash flow difficulties. Poor financial management and planning contributes to the closure of 100,000 UK SMEs each year and up to 70% of businesses in their first year of trading.

Prior to these findings Tallia Ltd had developed the Integrated Business Solution Tallia. Tallia is an on-demand integrated business tool complete with Accounts/ERP, CRM, eCommerce, POS and Budgeting Solution suitable for all sizes of business, from a sole-trader through to multinationals'. As an on-demand or hosted or even SOA solution, Tallia allows businesses and their accountants to access important information at any time, any place, any where.

Being an on-demand system Tallia can be accessed directly by the companies accountant, taking much of the hassle away from business owners, saving both parties time and money.

Tallia Managing Director, Eric Turner said, “As an on-demand web based system Tallia can be accessed at any time by the accountants so as issues arise business owners are able to contact their accountant for instant real-time help and advice.”

He Continued, “Despite the constant reminders for businesses to backup their key data, many business still do not have adequate or untested backup solutions in place. With a hosted or on-demand system such as Tallia, backups are taken care of as a part of the service."

The Tallia package is securely hosted online using banking levels of security, requires no installation and a free, no obligation trial for 30 days is available by visiting http://www.tallia.co.uk .
