How to Detect & Manage Fraud in EU Funded Projects

Counteracting fraud in EU expenditure, which includes EU funded investments, has currently a top priority in the EU. The authorities responsible for management and control of EU Funds still face considerable difficulties not only to detect fraud cases but also to distinguish them from irregularities and to undertake the necessary actions when fraud is suspected. Particular alertness is especially necessary in the field of public procurements which is very prone to fraud.

The 6th European Anti-Fraud Seminar aims at enhancing participant’s knowledge and skills in detecting fraud at an early stage, in developing a vigorous approach in regard to anti-fraud measures among and to improve overall effectiveness in fraud prevention.
