Launch: With the new HTML5 player SlidePresenter makes online-presentations available for the iPad, giving the increased business use of the device an additional boost

According to a recent study (IDG iPad survey) the Ipad is being used with increased regularity for work purposes. In Europe 60 % of all interviewed iPad users are utilizing their device at work. For 40 % of the interviewees the device is even provided by their employer.
Starting today, SlidePresenter online-presentations are available for the iPad, allowing those professionals a more efficient use of knowledge.
Presentations, speeches and trainings can be accessed independent from time and place, either for free or for a small fee. On the other side valuable content can be made available and monetized through the SlidePresenter infrastructure. With this development, SlidePresenter strengthens its technological leadership in the online-presentation field.

In addition to these great features, online-presentations provided via the cloud-based SlidePresenter solution can also be accessed with your iPad. This is made possible with the newly developed HTML5 player, complementing the Flash technology of the original SlidePresenter platform. Whether you are using the new iPad 3 or a former iPad version; thanks to backward compatibility all iPad owners are now able to view high-class online presentations in SlidePresenter’s synchronized video and PowerPoint format. Flash has proved to be a very reliable standard for desktop computers, however when it comes to mobile devices there have been limitations. Our smart SlidePresenter-Player now detects when it is being accessed from an iPad browser and automatically switches to the compatible HTML5 format. A separate installation and launch of an iPad app is not required. For users of SlidePresenter, the exclusion of Flash-based players with Apple products doesn’t matter anymore.
