Rhino Equipment Announces its New 8 Channel Modular Board

Rhino Equipment Corp announces the newly designed R8FXX-EC card, an eight channel analog plug-in PCI digital telephony card for the Asterisk open source PBX system, with eight independent RJ11 plug-in female jacks and standard integrated on-board carrier-grade high performance network echo cancellation.

Rhino Equipment Corp. is pleased to announce the release of our R8FXX-EC with eight independent RJ11 plug-in female jacks. This upgrade over the four-connector model with two lines per jack provides a simpler connection scheme for installations where RJ11 plugs are used. The R8FXX-EC model is also physically smaller at, just 4.00” (3U chassis capable) by 6.25” long, and still supports up to four Rhino Dual FXS or Rhino Dual FXO telephony modules.

The standard Rhino analog Echo Cancellation features are still standard on all Rhino analog cards such as carrier-class ITU G.168 compliant network echo cancellation with a 128ms tail featuring fast converging and an intelligent non-linear processor with automatic comfort noise generation.

All Rhino products come standard with a 5-year factory warranty. All Rhino PCI analog cards are FCC Part 68 certified for direct connection to the PSTN. Manufacturer list price for the R8FXX-EC is $329; the Rhino Dual FXS module is $110; the Rhino Dual FXO module is $125. Volume discounts are available.
