Digital Fashion Week NY is a celebration of what is possible in fashion. It is an opportunity to look into the future and be inspired by the most creative designers and to learn about the technology that is injecting new life into the fashion industry. “This past year has taught us that we need to pivot, rethink our processes and intentions” says Clare Tattersall, founder of Digital Fashion Week NY, “innovation in fashion is creating new looks, challenging convention and questioning what our clothes mean to us”. At the forefront of DFWNY is exquisite design and imagination, but it is not just about the glamor of fashion, the virtual fashion week allows us to go behind the scenes and explore multiple ways that fashion is moving into the virtual world, the ways that it is diverging from tradition and forging new paths from the design process to virtual garments and NFT drops. The future of fashion may not be fashion that exists in the real world, but it is fashion that has a very real impact on the garment industry.
