180 SKILLS ANNOUNCES 24 NEW ONLINE SKILLS TRAINING COURSES
Indianapolis, Indiana - 180 Skills, LLC has announced 24 new online skills training courses across four categories: Project Management, Metalforming, Machining, and Metal Cutting. Existing users can find the latest courses in their Content Library folder or check with their Learning Management System (LMS) administrators to access the courses.
"One of our core principles is to provide great content that engages the learner and provides training to get a job. Our courses are developed with industry and academic input, so our students receive the highest quality and relevant training possible," said Joe Kitterman, CEO, and Founder of 180 Skills, LLC. "With the ever-evolving needs of the workforce, we saw a need to fill in the gap with this new suite of courses.”
The new courses include fundamental skills training courses like the Introduction to Metalworking Processes, Introduction to Machining and Introduction to Abrasive Waterjet Cutting, and more in-depth topics like Planning, Executing and Monitoring a Project.
The company's courses are grouped into three categories: technical skills, employability skills, and compliance skills.
Technical skills courses are designed according to industry-defined standards for the mastery level needed to perform technical job functions. These courses offer something for everyone, from the complete novice to the seasoned veteran.
Employability skills courses cover a broad scope of important, non-technical topics employers perceive to be essential to job performance. Skills learned here are usually the same skills required in job postings.
Compliance skills courses enable students to keep up to date with training ordered by legislation, regulation, policy, or internal guidance. Students will be in line with OSHA safety, ISO quality system, and HR compliance standards by attending this course.
The 180 Skills library contains over 800 competency-based online skills training courses within 60 topic areas. The entire catalog of skills courses can be found here. These courses have been approved by the National Council for Continuing Education & Training (NCCET). The NCCET is a nationwide network of community and technical colleges committed to excellence in continuing education and training.
