Japanese Company, Goalist, Creates India-Based Subsidiary --Setting up a technology development office in Bengaluru--

Goalist is a company that creates value using data, design, and AI. On 31 March, 2021, Goalist India Technologies Private Limited, an India based subsidiary was founded. After hiring several talented people from India, Goalist decided to set up this subsidiary, based in Bengaluru, with plans to hire talented Indian software developers and AI engineers. Following the creation of a similar subsidiary in Vietnam (Goalist Vietnam Limited Liability Company) in 2019, this is the second such overseas subsidiary that the rapidly growing company has created.

【Why we’re setting up an Indian office】
Goalist’s mission is “To be a Professional Team that Leads Individuals and Organizations to their Goals”, and its primary activities involve Big Data services with a focus on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Analytics, as well as Product Development focussing on in-house Development and Design skills.

In January 2021, to further encourage the growth, Goalist created multiple subsidiaries: HRog Co.,Ltd which aims to continue creating a data revolution in the HR industry, and HumAIn Co.,Ltd which will focus on AI development.

We chose India to set up an office to support the growth and the new ventures of the Goalist group not only because we believe India has a healthy economic climate despite the pandemic, but more importantly, because we would like to work with people who embody the enterprising attitude and solid values that we have found in Indians.

In the short term we plan for Goalist India Technologies Private Limited to primarily be a hub for talented engineers. In the long term, we aim to foster the entrepreneurial spirit and will encourage our employees to propose new business ideas that address market needs within India as well.

【Directors】
– Ryo Kato dropped out of Kansai University and joined a startup in the HR industry. He worked on developing new business ventures and hiring recruits until he was appointed CEO of a subsidiary company that focussed on head hunting. He went on to work on projects in the software and internet space as well, including management consulting for an IT venture, until 2010. He founded Goalist in 2011.

– Pattamada Chinnapa went overseas to Singapore at 14 years of age, and went on to graduate from Waseda University, Tokyo. While studying there, he started a business that matched english students to native english speakers. He joined Goalist in 2017, founded the AI team in 2019, and was appointed CEO of HumAIn Co.,Ltd in 2021.

– Vivek Amilkanthawar graduated from Pune University and joined NTT Data. He traveled to Japan in 2018 and joined Goalist as a Fullstack / AI Engineer and was appointed the CTO of HRog Co.,Ltd in 2021.
