Chainstack joins Pocket Network as a trusted node provider to help build a more resilient Web3.

Singapore, 10 March 2021 - Chainstack announced today that it will launch a campaign to support the growth of Pocket Network. This comes after having been a trusted node provider of the network since January 2021. Chainstack will support the growth of the Pocket Network community by making blockchain infrastructure more accessible to all its participants, and by providing ongoing support to developers wanting to engage with the ecosystem.

The mission of Pocket Network is to provide reliable, blockchain-agnostic, decentralized infrastructure to Web3 applications. Pocket coordinates requests through a decentralized relay network of diverse full-node operators in order to guarantee Web3 applications the censorship-resistance, resilience, and redundancy they need to be truly unstoppable. To fulfil this mission, Pocket Network created an incentive layer that completely changes how node operators are compensated for providing infrastructure services.

When registering an application on the Pocket Network, developers will be able to connect and relay data to any blockchain currently supported by Pocket Network’s protocol. Reaping the benefits of a redundant-by-design, decentralized architecture, developers will benefit from a resilient infrastructure without single points of failure.

As a trusted Pocket Network node provider, Chainstack will expand its existing support for the community. Since January it has been running 10 nodes as part of the Pocket Network Bootstrap Program, and it will now begin a wider campaign to make nodes available to the Pocket Network community:

1) Starting today, it will be possible for anyone to become an independent Pocket Network node operator on Chainstack with a preferential pricing, and without the need and cost of running the underlying full Ethereum node separately.

2) Chainstack is further lowering the barrier to take part in the Pocket Network community by opening to the public low-code option to deploy Pocket nodes-as-a-service via its managed blockchain services Marketplace.

Pocket Network significantly reduces centralization risk, decentralized application development costs, and lowers the barrier for developers to create peer-to-peer applications for any blockchain.

Similarly, Chainstack makes the deployment of blockchain networks accessible to developers and businesses of any size thanks to highly flexible hosting options. The addition of Pocket Network to its Marketplace will mark a new frontier in merging enterprise and Web3 deployment, offering a sophisticated and mature decentralized alternative.
