ART UNPLUGGED REMINDS VIEWERS THAT ART IS A SOURCE OF PLEASURE

8 March, 2021 Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain - Art Unplugged, a YouTube Channel dedicated to art, has made it its mission to convince its viewers of the pleasure to be derived from visual arts.
In short videos of about 15 minutes each, artist, and art curator Boryana Korcheva, talks about artists and art movements, offering her often unorthodox point of view. Delivered in a direct and lively language, spiked with humor, the clips inform, entertain, and engage.
“I believe that the circle of people who enjoy art is much smaller than that of music or literature lovers,” says Boryana Korcheva. We rarely hear anyone say “I don’t understand music or theatre or cinema” but I hear, “I don’t understand art” all the time from educated and cultured people. I started Art Unplugged in order to fix that.
“I spend a lot of time researching my content, comparing sources in several languages. But most importantly, I try to engage my viewers emotionally by bringing a human angle to the subject”, says Korcheva.
Prior to becoming an artist Boryana Korcheva worked as a language teacher, PR consultant and media trainer. She has exhibited in UAE, US, The Bahamas, Spain and Bulgaria.
