Celebrating lessons from mothers around the world, the “Thank You, Mama” podcast commemorates its first Anniversary on International Women’s Day, as Part of Women’s History Month.

March 3, 2021: “Thank You, Mama,” a podcast interviewing women of different backgrounds, nationalities, ages, and professions, marks its first anniversary this week on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2021.

“Thank You, Mama” is the brainchild of award-winning journalist and author, Ana Tajder, who was on a mission to create a show that highlights the wisdom and colorful experiences of global mothers intended to inspire, motivate and educate.

The podcast currently has 57 available episodes with guests that include professors, stay-at-home moms, scientists, CEOs, and business moguls hailing from countries like Nepal, Tanzania, Mexico, the U.S., Morocco, Trinidad, Burma and Spain.

“A year ago, I launched “Thank You, Mama” from my living room, in the middle of a pandemic, while homeschooling my son,” said Tajder. “My dream was to create a platform for women around the world to empower and inspire each other through their mothers’ lessons. I never imagined this podcast would be where it is today, and it humbles me greatly.”

With guests coming from 40 different countries, and listeners tuning in from over 70 different countries, this ‘weekly trip around the world,’ has reached the Top 10 Personal Journals on Apple Podcasts in 7 countries, and already won two international awards.
