Convergeone’S Golf Star Tyrrell Hatton Wins Your Golf Travel Europro Event

ConvergeOne has supported Tyrrell Hatton since March this year and it looks like that was a decision well made when he came from 3 shots behind to win the tournament at Bovey Castle on Friday (May 25) with a round of 67.
Hatton (Harleyford Golf Club) began the final day of the 888poker.com PGA EuroPro Tour event three shots behind leader Stuart Manley (Machynys Peninsula) but capitalised as one of only two golfers in the top ten to score below par for his final round. His total of -12 beat joint second-placed Manley and Martin LeMesurier (South Winchester Golf Club) by three shots with the help of birdies at 16 and 17.
Having been victorious at Qualifying School in April this was Hatton’s first win on the Tour proper and afterwards he admitted he knew he’d need a good final round if he was to be victorious.
“At the start of the day I knew I needed to shoot a good number to catch the leaders,” he said. “They had been playing very well in the first two rounds so I assumed they would go well again. But you can only control what your own ball does so I just went out there to try my best and see what would happen.
“There was a point about halfway through my round when I saw the scoreboard outside the clubhouse and realised that Martin [LeMesurier] had a four-shot lead. If I’m honest I thought I was playing for second place at that point. There was a large group of us between seven and nine under so I had to knuckle down for second place.“
ConvergeOne has always supported young ambition and Tyrrell Hatton is no exception, his passion for golf and dedication to the game has seen him go from amateur to professional golf and this recent win puts him in a good position for the rest of the year’s tournaments.
ConvergeOne’s clients will have the opportunity for some coaching with Tyrrell later this year when they host their annual golf event.
