Join R Pubsure in Celebrating Pubathon, An Experiential Learning Event for Everyone in Academia
Mumbai, February 18, 2021: Cactus Communications (CACTUS), a technology company accelerating scientific advancement, is all set to celebrate Pubathon, a two-day global research publishing event on February 25 and 26, 2021. Through Pubathon, R Pubsure, an AI-based research manuscript assessment tool under R, a CACTUS brand, aims to help researchers understand how they can speed through manuscript submission while keeping in mind all the guidelines that journals insist on. Pubathon will include two 90-minute experiential learning sessions over two days, featuring eminent speakers and researchers from across the globe. Each session will begin with a webinar, where our speakers will discuss various aspects of manuscript submission, including challenges and what journals want, from both author and editor perspectives. The second part of the day’s session will allow attendees to connect with stakeholders and explore R Pubsure through an interactive workshop.Abhishek Goel, CEO, Cactus Communications said, “CACTUS is proud to organize Pubathon for all our partners in academia. Our goal is to help researchers and academics avoid the probability of desk rejection of their manuscript by helping them get the basics right, thus accelerating the publication process. With increased manuscript submissions in the last 12 months during the pandemic, this event now holds even greater significance.”
Chris Leonard, Director, Product and Strategy, Cactus Communications said, “AI-based manuscript assessment tools have gained serious traction in the past year, with the increase in the number of manuscript submissions. We have also seen a rise in the number of researchers relying on R Pubsure, and reaching out to us with queries around manuscript submission. Pubathon is an attempt to address the most common researcher queries and allow them a chance to experience the power of R Pubsure, which has attained a leadership stance for being the first and the best manuscript submission readiness check in the industry.”
Some of the manuscript submission readiness checks R Pubsure performs are language, structure, references, and declarations. The Pro version comes with additional features such as a globally accepted plagiarism check and a downloadable WORD file, with corrections suggested in track changes, which allows users to further reduce time spent on optimizing manuscripts for submission. R Pubsure also includes a journal recommender feature as standard, to further its twin goals of avoiding desk rejection and accelerating publication.
