Chainstack enables all businesses to deploy decentralized networks and applications anywhere, including to their own cloud
Global managed blockchain services provider Chainstack launches new private hosting options that empower all businesses and IT innovators to seamlessly manage blockchain networks and applications in their own cloud infrastructure.Singapore, February 2, 2021 – Chainstack, key market player in managed blockchain services, today announces the release of Chainstack 2.2. This update enables developers and enterprises to easily deploy, manage, and scale decentralized networks and applications in their own cloud.
This marks a pivotal step toward flexible deployment of blockchain networks as it enables easy migration of blockchain applications and networks across clouds, breaking the dependency on a single cloud provider.
Thanks to the addition of private hosting, Chainstack, already recognized for its highly advanced engineering, strengthens its position as an open and independent provider across protocols and clouds, public and consortium networks. The initial support includes private hosting for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service with 20 regions available around the globe.
Chainstack will continue to orchestrate private deployments, monitor health and activity, perform upgrades, and provide highly responsive support—within the same easy-to-use Chainstack UI and API.
“We were looking for a solution that would offload our engineering team from DevOps and network management efforts,” said Stan Synko, CEO of Aleph One, a FinTech Software Consultancy company working across North America and Europe, who was part of the early adopters of this new feature and is now a power user of Chainstack’s Hyperledger Fabric services. “With private hosting, we now can launch projects in European jurisdictions and seamlessly hand-off projects, deployed on Chainstack, to our customers."
Laurent Dedenis, Founder and CEO of Chainstack, said, “Thanks to this significant enhancement, Chainstack reinforces its position as the leader in flexible and lean deployment. We are now at a key crossroad for the blockchain industry as it moves from experimentation to production. We have introduced these changes to meet an increasing demand for flexible deployment. We keep our commitment to always be at the forefront of innovation and give our community only the best and most advanced engineering in the market. Our 1000+ clients, from large banks to individual developers, can now enjoy the cutting edge of flexible blockchain deployment.”
In addition to private hosting, Chainstack 2.2 includes the support of Amazon’s US East data center, one of the most concentrated Ethereum mainnet locations in the world. This strategic move significantly lowers times for transactions discovery and finalization. Furthermore, Chainstack’s 2.2 release is extending the availability of Ethereum and Bitcoin nodes in Microsoft Azure, with all mainnet and testnet, shared and dedicated options now fully supported.
This change helps support the robustness of the infrastructure provided to the blockchain community as it diversifies the deployment options for public blockchain nodes and provides an alternative to what is already available on the market.
