NABWIC Hosts its 2021 Annual Meeting

Jacksonville, FL – National Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC) is hosting the 12th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, January 27 – 29, 2021 at the DoubleTree Hilton Airport Hotel. The annual meeting is the premiere event for women of color building strategic partnerships in the construction industry on a national level.

NABWIC is proud to bring it’s 2021 Annual Meeting to Jacksonville, FL. The meeting will take place at the DoubleTree Hilton, Airport located 2101 Dixie Clipper Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32218. The meeting will include a Kick-Off reception, January 27th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST with local and national guests in attendance. The Annual Meeting will end with the NABWIC Billion Dollar Virtual Transportation Luncheon, January 29th, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm EST.

“NABWIC has been the voice of black women and business women in construction for many years. We are excited to host a meeting that creates many strategic partnerships in the construction and pipeline industry at many levels. This meeting will contribute to planning next 50 to 100 years for womens success in the construction industry,” said Ann McNeill, NABWIC Founder.

More than 100 women of color leaders in various construction areas are expected to be in attendance onsite and virtually.

Mr. Nathaniel P. Ford Sr., Chief Executive Officer with the Jacksonville Transportation Authority; Mr. Greg Evans, District 2 Secretary with the Florida Department of Transportation are keynote speakers. The luncheon will also highlight and recognize Ms. Rosa Rountree, Chief Executive Officer with Egis Projects, Inc, as the NABWIC Woman in the Spotlight.

Major Sponsors for the event include Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), Gannett-Fleming, and Black Business Investment Fund (BBIF), the Kick-off reception sponsor.
