Basalt fiber mini-rebars (BF-MR)

Basalt fiber mini-rebars (BF-MR)

As a tech innovative company, INCOTELOGY GmbH - Fiber Technology & Products - is one of the leading providers of basalt fiber products and semi-finished products. Since December 2020 our newly developed corrugated basalt fiber mini-rebars (BF-MR) have been complementing our product portfolio. With these mini rebars we are able to offer you a new alternative to conventional steel fibers in concrete for the European market.

The corrugated basalt fiber mini-rebas (BF-MS) are made from basalt fiber reinforced plastic using a special technology. They are characterized by their four times lighter weight than comparable steel fibers and offer a comparable, depending on the type of steel fibers considered, even a higher tensile strength.
The new basalt fiber mini-rebars with their unique properties are particularly impressive in the concrete reinforcement market segment. Are your areas of application subject to strong temperature fluctuations, are you exposed to changing humidity conditions or heavy loads? Are you aiming for an extended service life for your concrete reinforcement projects? Our mini-rebars made of basalt fiber-plastic composite meet these challenges. Due to their excellent resistance to corrosive environmental influences, they open up the potential of realizing lower cover layer with concrete. A concrete reinforced with basalt fiber mini-rebars enables a doble longer service life . This represents significant cost savings potential for your new projects in the field of industrial floors, foundation slabs and shotcrete applications.
The standard length is 50 mm with a diameter of 1.50 mm, which corresponds to a ratio (L / D) of 33. In order to meet the application-specific requirements, INCOTELOGY GmbH offers the option of producing the basalt fiber mini-rebars in various sizes.

We would be happy to inform you about the wide range of applications for the new basalt fiber mini-rebars.
