Updatum takes over partner network from CyberWatcher
Updatum AB, a recently formed Swedish company for information services, takes over the partner network of Norwegian CyberWatcher, and has in a short time established operations in seven countries. Robert Tinterov, former CEO of media monitoring company Agent25, is appointed CEO of Updatum.
Updatum is a full service provider of information services, including everything from advice and online media monitoring to press clippings, company information, analysis and press release services. All services are also offered as integrated and customized solutions. Updatum monitors and analyzes more than 60.000 news sources from over 100 countries
”Our focus will be on the European market,” said Robert Tinterov, CEO of Updatum. ”Together with our extensive partner network, we will have the most complete offer on the market. Updatum is a very cost-efficient complement for users of international information data bases, such as Factiva, Thomson and Lexis-Nexis.”
Updatum’s partner network currently includes eight companies in seven countries. Negotiations with additional partners are in process. Updatum is also actively looking for new possible partners throughout Europe.
”The successful companies of tomorrow in this business need to combine three important things; competence in media and information, advanced technology and knowledge about the local market,” said Robert Tinterov. “This is why we believe a partner network is an efficient method for Updatum.”
Updatum use award-winning technology from Norwegian company CyberWatcher, who is also the company’s main shareholder.
“The Nordic countries are ahead of the rest of Europe when it comes to using digital information services,” said Morten Rynning, chairman of Updatum and CEO of CyberWatcher. “Therefore we see a huge potential in the market outside of Nordics with our new full service concept.”
“During the last decade, CyberWatcher and Agent25 have changed the market in Norway and Sweden for current awareness tools, going from a market of traditional press clipping services to a modern information industry. Now Robert and I are joining forces to develop the European market,” said Morten Rynning.
Updatum currently has partners in the following countries: Norway, UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Poland.
