Charles Rutenberg Realty is announcing the expansion of its firm by adding approximately 100 Agents who will be directing their efforts towards Commercial Real Estate. They will cover the entire Long Island and New York Metropolitan areas and, if necessary, will be available to complete transactions on a National basis.

“We are proud to see our firm grow its Commercial Real Estate business here on Long Island and in the New York Metropolitan area,” said Richard Diller, the new Director of the Commercial Division. “Our growing roster of Agents will give us a broader presence in the marketplace and provide businesses and investors greater resources when considering new locations as well as new investment opportunities.”

Mr. Diller was the Founding Member of Equity Programs, Ltd., a Real Estate firm based in Manhattan, where he was the Managing General Partner and responsible for creating 39 Real Estate Investment Partnerships with a value in excess of $140 million. The portfolio included more than 2,500 apartment units and 500,000 square feet of commercial space. As President of Equity Realty Securities Corp., he raised over $70 million from high-net worth investors for the acquisition of Real Estates in nine states. In addition, through an affiliation with a Private Equity Investor group, he was responsible for originating, negotiating and evaluating and structuring joint ventures for the development and construction of residential single-family units and townhouses. These transactions were values in excess of $50 million.
