Acme Portable Machines Debuts Rugged Laptops Designed for High-Performance Mission Critical Applications

For more than 25 years, ACME Portable Machines, Inc. has been designing and manufacturing portable computing solutions for industrial and military applications. Acme Portable’s latest addition to its portfolio of rugged portable workstations and rackmount display solutions is the NotePAC rugged laptop series. The NotePAC is designed for mission critical applications that demand high-performance and tough builds. The NotePAC series keep the powerful performance and integrity of portable workstations while adopting a smaller and more transportable design.

Rugged Tough Build
These rugged laptops are designed to withstand harsh environments. The aluminum build, rubber bumper corners, and hinged doors allow the laptops to withstand extreme weather conditions and sustain bumps and high-impact blows. They have been tested to pass Mil-Std 461 (EMC/EMI), DTE-901E (high-impact) and 810G (environmental).

Endless Expansion Possibilities
Acme Portable’s rugged laptops have plenty of expansion space for removable drives and PCIe expansions. Depending on your application requirements, configurable options include two 3/4 length PCIe Slots (x16, x8) for add-in graphics, RAID, Network, or other I/O. Further, there are four removable SSD drive bays for a total of up to 30TB of storage.

Portable Multi-Screen Design
NotePACs feature a single 17.3” display or triple 17.3” displays for plenty of HD screen space for any application. In addition, two hot-swappable batteries are a unique feature to the NotePAC.
