The idea for Wipeys came to fruition when Moss started realizing how much dirt and grime was on her cell phone in her everyday life, especially from using it at the gym or while travelling. As something that is meant to be held against our skin, Moss realized the idea of consciously cleaning our devices is not a talked about topic, especially within the world of skincare. After extensive research on device cleaning wipes and learning that there was not currently any non-toxic device wipe products on the market – from there, Wipeys was born. From its inception, Wipeys developed into more than just a device wipe, it became a travel pack of 4 different types of wipes, all made with non-toxic, completely clean ingredients.

Kaitlin was raised in Dallas, Texas but her university journey led her to Colorado. She now resides in Denver with her husband of three years and Havanese, Winston. From working as a fashion show producer to running the entertaining blog, The Every Hostess, Moss has been an entrepreneur from the start of her career.  Her love of entertaining and sharing simple party ideas, tips and tricks with her readers is what inspired The Every Hostess, while also being apart of the high-energy environment, backstage at fashion shows is what lead to work in event production.

Making an idea come to life.
I had an idea of something missing in my every day life for about a year and finally decided to take a leap of faith (especially from my normal career as a blogger and event producer) and try to create it. I’ve always been grossed out by how dirty my phone seemed - from sweating on it at the gym to always having it with me in the bathroom (admit it, you’re on your phone on the toilet too!). It even got to the point that I would take all my calls on speaker phone. I didn’t want that thing to touch my already acne prone skin! After extensive research I learned there currently wasn’t any non-toxic device wipes on the market – from there, Wipeys was born. Over the next two years, and through extensive R+D, my initial concept grew into four categories to cover not just devices but also hands, face and surfaces. Wipeys are something I wish I always had - especially as an avid traveler. Up until now I never thought about the dirt and grime around me on such simple things such as a phone or airplane tray table. Now, don’t get me wrong - I think germs are good for us to build our immune systems…but wiping away the little bit we can helps live a cleaner life - especially with something that contains clean ingredients.
