Animals Available for Adoption at Save-A-Pet
(Port Jefferson Station, NY) — Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, Inc. has the following animals available for adoption.Cisco is a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever mix with a beautiful, short tan-and-white coat. He is very playful, walks well on a leash and is just waiting for a family to call his own.
Sandy is a stunning purebred German shepherd. She has some food issues, but these can be worked through with proper training. Sandy would do best in an experienced home.
Licorice is a beautiful Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a very sad story. She was adopted as a puppy and given all the love she deserved but, as she grew older, her family split up and Licorice was left to live in the home alone. Her owner came several times a day to care for her but, after several years, she realized Licorice deserved better. Licorice is now at Save-A-Pet hoping that her next home will be forever.
Dollie is a young Pit Bull Terrier/Hound mix who needs a home with some patience since she is a little shy. Dollie will become a devoted companion with the right person.
All of these dogs are up-to-date with all routine shots. They have also already been house-trained and altered.

Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue Inc. was established in 1994 and is located in Port Jefferson Station. Save-A-Pet works with The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter, to place homeless animals into new homes with loving families. All of the animals that come to Save-A-Pet are spayed, neutered, tested for diseases and vaccinated. Prospective adopters are thoroughly screened and matched with the most suitable pet for them and their family. Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill shelter and is a safe haven for all of the animals that enter it.
