11th Foundation Day Celebration at Shridhar University

Inaugural address by Prof.(Dr) M. Venu Gopala Rao, VC, SU


Shridhar University today celebrated its 11th foundation day in a befitting manner.

On this occasion, Prof.(Dr) M Venu Gopala Rao, Vice Chancellor, Shridhar University, Pilani was the Chief Guest, and Shri D.D. Sharma, Advisor was the Guest of Honour.

Dr Mohini Dwivedi, HoD (Basic & Applied Science) and Head, Research Cell welcomed all the dignitaries and Invitees. Dr Rakesh Meel, Dean (Academics) mentioned about the progress of the Institute and appreciated the entire Faculty for their remarkable contributions.

Foundation day inaugural speech was delivered by the Chief Guest, Prof (Dr) M. Venu Gopala Rao, Vice Chancellor, Shridhar University, Pilani, Rajasthan. Dr Venu in his address thanked the Hon’ble Chairman Mr Vijay Pal Yadav and the Director Mr Shubham Yadav for their relentless effort to empower youth with employability and entrepreneurial skills (including creativity and innovation) so as to enable them not only to earn a living but also to contribute to national development.

The foundation day lecture at the ceremony was delivered by Guest of Honor, DD Sharma, Advisor on the topic entitled, “Best Administrative Practices for the Total Quality Management”. He emphasized on commitment, Loyalty and bonding among the faculty and the need to work like a Team.
Shridhar University is a full-fledged university established under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 by the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly vide The Shridhar University Act No. 4 of 2010. It is located at Pilani - Chirawa Road, Pilani – 333031 (Rajsthan), with its magnificent and lush green 65 acres of campus where 1000 students are pursuing their higher education at the level of Diploma, Degree, UG/PG and Ph.D., in the fields of Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Law, Humanities and Sciences, etc. under the able guidance of most dedicated faculty members.

The function also included special lectures by the eminent Faculty. A colourful cultural programme was also arranged in the evening by Shridhar University employees. Several special invitees, in addition to the existing employees and their families, attended the function.
