K.R. Mangalam University organizes 3rd Convocation

28th November 2020: K R Mangalam University organized its 3rd Convocation today in virtual mode. During convocation 2020, degrees were conferred to the Five hundred and thirty-four (534) students. This number includes 394 undergraduates, 72 postgraduates and 13 Doctoral degrees and 55 diplomas. Honorable Chief Minister of Haryana Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar was the chief guest on this occasion. While congratulating the students he motivated the students, “I look forward for your significant contribution in further accelerating the pace of development in the State and the Country.”
Honorable Chancellor of the University Padam Shree Prof. Dinesh Singh presided over the ceremony and delivered the Convocation Address and stressed on the importance of value system and discovering oneself through education. He said, “The main thrust of what we do with you is to get you to look inside and to discover what your true value is, what is it that resonates with your heart, what is the drumbeat within, and we try and get you to march in the real world in harmony with that drumbeat. We want you to discover true worth and be true to your conscience.”
15 student toppers with more than 8.5 CGPA in their respective streams were bestowed with Gold Medals.
Prof. Aditya Malik, Vice Chancellor, KRMU congratulated the graduands said “Giving you the best education means giving you a set of tools, making a set of abilities available to you that will carry you through any and every circumstance that life throws at you. The abilities of confidence, of independence, of creativity, of being able to communicate well, listening, and trusting that things will always work out.”
