Press release from: Newsgazetteonline

Newsgazetteonline spoke with James Myerscough, Head of Private Wealth at Nadero, the international investment and wealth management company with offices in Chongqing, about the IPO market's current state.
At Nadero, we are excited not just by the amount, but by the quality of recent IPOs as well as with those that are still in the pipeline, said Myerscough. He added that it had been the busiest time he could remember in two decades, and the opportunities keep coming to make excellent returns for our clients.”
Airbnb is currently preparing for its listing, as is installment lender Affirm Inc. These are soon to be followed by the USA’s biggest food delivery company DoorDash Inc. and online e-commerce platform Wish Inc. All are looking to hit the public markets before the end of the year.
It has been an unusual year at Nadero, as it has for everyone, and usually at this time of year it is relatively quiet, said Myerscough. But with the pandemic, listings were postponed, which has led to a flurry of activity in the latter stages of the year.
San Mateo, California-based video gaming company Roblox released their initial IPO papers this week. Nadero is also aware that Robinhood Markets, the online investing app, has begun the process of finding the right advisors for its IPO. Instacart Inc., a company with a grocery delivery and pick-up service in North America, has picked Goldman Sachs as its lead advisor for an IPO slated for the first few months of next year and is expected to raise up to $30 billion, according to Nadero’s Myerscough.
September was extremely busy in the IPO markets, with seven tech companies listing within the space of a fortnight.
We will be looking closely at all the upcoming opportunities to see which we feel will be most profitable for our clients at Nadero, said Mr. Myerscough. Many of the forthcoming listings are online companies that haven’t yet made a profit, so we will need to evaluate their potential carefully before deciding if they are right for us, he continued.
