Office furniture specialist Rio Designs supplies over 200 bespoke workstations for Orega’s new Hammersmith business centre

Office furniture specialist Rio Designs Ltd has recently supplied over 200 bespoke workstations for the first stage of serviced office provider Orega’s new business centre in Hammersmith London.

The unique workstations, which are common throughout Orega’s offices, are built to the company’s exacting specification to ensure optimum use of space, durability, style and return on investment. Rio Designs has worked with Orega since 2009 and has supplied similar workstations and associated seating to Orega’s sites in Gatwick, Manchester, Bristol, Slough, Holborn and Wandsworth.

Orega has signed a 10-year management agreement with Halcrow, the landlord of the premises at 3 Shortlands, for a total of 34,000 sq ft of the stunning cross-shaped building. The first phase occupies around 17,000 sq ft of the fourth-floor with the second phase to follow later.

Take up has been brisk with 61% of the available space being allocated before the centre opened in March 2012. Many of Orega’s clients are prestigious companies, often from overseas, requiring high-quality office facilities at short notice in central locations.
