Stroke Association of Florida Receives NAELA Award

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Stroke Association of Florida and its program director, Holly Dykema, have received the 2012 President’s Recognition Award from National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) President Edwin M. Boyer, Esq., CAP. The award acknowledges the Stroke Association’s efforts in educating Florida communities on stroke-related issues.

Each year, the current NAELA President selects an outstanding individual to receive the President’s Recognition Award. NAELA will make a donation to the Stroke Association of Florida.

The Stroke Association of Florida is a non-profit organization whose mission is to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke by educating the communities of Sarasota and Manatee counties about prevention, risks, signs and symptoms and by providing support and resources for stroke survivors, caregivers and support group leaders.
