Technology Award Will Unveil Innovative Products and Services of 2020 on January 1st 2021

Manchester, UK - Today, journalists behind the Technology Award, a sub-division of Press Education Pro, have announced, that the last batch of nominations will be processed by the end of the week. The Technology Award was founded in 2020 by journalists who are members of Press Education Pro, a journalist association which hosts more than 800 journalists worldwide.

"A common issue when it comes to writing a story about innovative products are Editors in Chief. They often cut a story short, as they try not to promote specific products. This is an issue when it comes to real innovative products, as journalists cannot push a great product forward due to limitations of acceptable content when it comes to publishing reviews, stories, or notes about a product", Jens Hofer, Tech Editor of Technology Award said.

This is where Technology Award comes in handy. By nominating companies, products, or services for the Technology Award, journalists worldwide are able to write about their favorite innovations without having an Editor in Chief watching closely what they write about, so it doesn't sound like a recommendation. When it comes to innovations, it's a great thing if journalists can write as positively as they want. After all, it's all about sharing something exciting.

How the process works:

One or more journalists who deal with reviews in their jobs can nominate outstanding products. When a product is nominated, an editor contacts nominated companies to inform them that one of their products or services has been nominated. In some cases, editors ask a company for a sample of the nominated product, which is returned within 3-5 weeks to the providing company. This is to ensure that tests/reviews are not biased because an editor was allowed to keep a sample product/service.

Once a product has been tested, there are 10 journalists who vote for the winning product or service within various categories. There are three different awards that are handed out, the golden, silver, and bronze award. Once a product has been voted for, the company that owns the brand/product/service receives a note about the award won. It then can use all available marketing logos/winner notification on its products.

The Technology Award will be unveiled for the first time on January 1st, 2020. After that, the award will be given out once a year to companies who unveil the most exciting/innovative products every year.
