1. Significant drop in non-essential expenses
2. Increase in savings
3. Only 6.7% considered home loan moratorium
4. Consumers are spending more time on Entertainment.
5. Average Time Spent per day: Working – 4.65 hrs | Entertainment – 4.89 hrs
6. Socializing, Holiday & Restaurant Dine-in are most missed activities
7. Work from home not enjoyed by majority, missing their work-place despite the traffic stress
8. Consumers have found new solutions through online service providers; Health-tech, Ed-Tech & Online Fitness have had higher consumer base addition, followed by Meat Delivery
9. ~48% of the consumers have used Online Grocery Delivery in last 30 days
10. 7 new delivery brands utilized by consumers; includes Local Super Markets who have catered to the needs via. Whatsapp
11. Expected Spend in Next 6 Months
a. Hygiene & Sanitation, Preventive Healthcare, Education, & Essentials are areas where consumers expect to increase spend in the next 6 months
b. Consumers likely to continue their planned purchases of Appliances, Electronics & Durables
c. Auto, New Property Purchase & Renovation likely to be on back burner
