Why Sugaring is a Problem for Millionaire Dating
The Sugar community has become more sneaky and is infiltrating legitimate dating sites and prey on valid users. Instead of feelings and connection, a financial benefit is the main interest of Sugar Babies. For free travel, luxurious gifts and getting a generous allowance, they are willing to please their “Daddy”. However, Sugar Daddies are financing them just to be under the illusion of having a relationship with a young, attractive woman.
More Sugar Babies because of Covid-19
Luxy has identified that since the Coronavirus-related economic crisis, the number of Sugar Babies trying to enter Luxy has skyrocketed. Up to 200 of over 3,000 daily applicants are falling in the Sugar category. They cannot become members since we will do everything to support our community members and will only waste our and their time. Luxy has been targeted by Sugar Babies since getting known to be the “Tinder for the Rich” but Millionaire Dating is no equivalent to Sugaring.
Luxy is executing actions to keep the community Sugar-free
Luxy already has a lot barriers to stop them from joining the community. Thankfully our system, staff and eagle-eyed users can sniff a sugar profile out and help us ban them in this war against the sugar community:
- 24-hour initiation period: when someone has created their profile, a team will check the legitimacy of what has been created. If anything alarms us or feels fishy, we won’t grant this person access.
- Spam Check: Luxy's spam checker catches suspicious words and phrases associated with: sugaring. And our team will then investigate to see if the profile can be filtered out.
- Profile Reporting: Every member can also report profiles which seem ghoulish and not entirely true. Once they are reported, our team will investigate this query and will proceed with the next appropriate steps.
