Anuga FoodTec 2012: Safety, Precision and top Quality for the Food Processing Industry
Hygiene and precision play a crucial role in food processing. The slicers, food robotics, skinners und icers produced by the Weber group exactly meet these requirements. From March 27 to 30, the High Tech Company presents its high-grade solutions for lunchmeat, ham, fresh meat and cheese processing at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne. Interested visitors are welcome to gain a detailed insight into this product portfolio in Hall 9, Stand B40.For more than 30 years, Weber has been one of the leading producers of food processing systems. Today, the product range made by the Weber group comprises high performance slicing machines (slicers), Food Robotics and automatic infeeding systems, machines for derinding and skinning sinews from meat and fish (Skinners) as well as machines producing flake ice (Icers). The company is world market leader in the slicer sector. At this year’s Anuga FoodTec Weber’s focus is again set on its benchmarking slicing systems. Circular and involute blade technology slicers, types 904, 804, 604-2 as well as the Baconslicer 702 will be exhibited. In the module area, Weber presents a new peeling machine and multi-track product scanners.
The Weber Slicer 904 is one of the most efficient slicing machines in the market. Thanks to its idle cut technology, this system slices products with up to 1,500 cuts per minute. Already the compact slicer types 804 (involute blade technology) and 604-2 (circular blade technology) fascinate with their special features such as automatic loading. Products are loaded and positioned with extreme precision for the slicing process. As its name suggests already, the Baconslicer 702 presented by Weber is a machine tailor-made to the particular requirements of slicing bacon. This machine works without product grippers and, consequently, virtually without interruptions in loading. All slicers in the Weber product portfolio have one crucial feature in common: the 'Weber Hygienic Design'. High-grade stainless steel, tapered and bull-nose edges of the machine housings and all loading components easy to remove and to clean – without the use of tools – guarantee a maximum of food safety. Modules such as Compactloader or peeling machine are optionally equipped with hygiene sets. For these hygiene sets, Weber uses UVC light, for example.
In the safety context, Weber customers can especially rely on the solutions for portion transport and infeeding. Weber Pick Robots reduce the risk of cross-contamination during processing to a minimum. With its proprietary developments of loading and infeeding conveyors Weber is in a position to build long slicing lines on which the products are safely and accurately transported, from slicing up to the packaging machine. All Weber systems are engineered and built in Germany, which guarantees longevity and top quality.
