Traveling Tribute Towers of Post-9/11 Fallen from The War

A very emotional exhibit will soon be displayed at American Legion Post 372 in Cherry Hill, NJ.
The Fallen Tribute Towers is a traveling war memorial that honors our post 9/11 military Fallen. Consisting of 32 towers, it includes information and photos of the military men and women killed in action in Iraq and Afghanistan, those that were killed in training accidents and attacks stateside and on overseas bases, as well as those who took their own lives once returning from war due to post-traumatic stress.
This moving exhibit will be on display outside on the grounds of American Legion Post 372 (1532 Martin Ave, Cherry Hill, NJ) from Wednesday, November 4th (2pm) until Sunday, November 8th (12pm) and is open for public viewing 24/7.
There will be a Candlelight & Wreath Laying Service on Friday, November 6th at 6:30pm to honor and remember all our military men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11. The Ceremony includes guest speakers, including ret Brig General John DiNapoli, Gold Star Mother Melinda Kane and Mike Simpson with NJ Run for the Fallen, along with some local dignitaries. There will be a reading of names from Camden County, along with candles provided for all to place at one of the Tower Panels or the Camden County Panel. Organizations are welcome to bring a wreath to place, but are asked to register online at https://www.alch372.com/fallen-tribute-towers / (Rain or Shine)
There is an Essay Contest for children, from any school, grades 5-8 and 9-12. Entry requirement is that the student visits the Fallen Tribute Towers while on display at the American Legion. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes in each age category. Visit the website to download the Essay Packet, or pick one up when you visit the Fallen Tribute Towers. Submissions will be due by Wednesday, November 11th and winners will be chosen on Saturday, November 14th.
There will also be a Veterans Day Service on Saturday, November 7th at 11am to honor all our living veterans and active military. (Rain or Shine).
Volunteer Positions are available for SECURITY of the TOWERS, VISITORS ASSISTANCE and help with SET UP and TAKE DOWN. Sign up on the website at https://www.alch372.com/fallen-tribute-towers /
Visitors should follow social distancing rules and regulations that are in place at the time of their visit. The Fallen Tribute Towers Exhibit and Ceremonies will be outdoors. There will be a tent in case of inclement weather for ceremonies, but bring umbrella/poncho in case no social distanced seats available.
