Internet startup network reaches 100,000 audio uploads
Miami Beach, FL USA March 21, 2012The recently created audio content network yourlisten.com has surpassed the 100,000 audio uploads mark. The number of uploads shared by users of the site has grown exponentially since its founding in 2008. The milestone marks yourlisten.com as one of the fastest growing networks of its type.
Yourlisten.com is a free, user-generated network that gives members the ability to upload, share, download, and embed multiple types of audio files. These files include, but are not limited to music, podcasts, ringtones, audio books, interviews, sound effects, and sound bites. The site is also flexible with many different audio formats in order to give users maximum flexibility with their content.
The rapid growth of the site can be partially attributed to the ease with which users can upload files. Users choose an audio clip; provide a title, short description, and a few tags, and then select the “Complete Upload” button on the uploads page. The files can then easily be embedded on any other site. Any audio clip under 100mb can be uploaded to the site, and each user gets an unlimited amount of uploads. Content shared on the site has no time limit.
Yourlisten.com has recently been creating much discussion in the online community. “We are very proud of the progress we have made so far,” said president and founder Scott Goodman. “We have reached a goal that we have been working toward since day one, and we hope to continue to provide a high quality network for users on an even greater scale.”
