The Enterprise CMS eZ Publish optimized for IBM Systems x servers: IBM Server Proven

SKIEN, NORWAY. - June, 4 2007. eZ and IBM have started a technology oriented collaboration. The goal is to optimize eZ Publish deployment on IBM platform as well as integrating it smoothly with IBM solutions. eZ Publish is now IBM Server Proven.

IBM and eZ have been working together for several months now at different levels. Their common interest in the Open Source world was a clear reason to start a collaboration around an optimization of eZ Publish on IBM servers as well as integrations with IBM solutions.

The first concrete result of this collaboration is at the hardware level. eZ Publish is Server Proven for Systems x servers. This means that eZ Publish has been evaluated, tested and validated on IBM Systems x servers. These tests have been realized on released Enterprise level websites based on this infrastructure.

In addition to the guarantee delivered by eZ at the application level, this label secures eZ Publish installations from the hardware level which is a must in the Enterprise Content Management market. eZ and IBM are already working on a Solution Approval for eZ Publish on Bladecenters.
