Siborg Systems Inc. various test devices for Surface Mount Technology

Canadian Siborg Systems Inc. is hosting an online sale for their multimeters and other test equipment. The sale offers up to 30% off the LCR-Reader family of multimeters, including the new LCR-Reader-MPA-BT Bluetooth data acquisition tool. Smart Tweezers and other test devices are also on sale. The discounted offer is available until October 31st, 2020, at 11:59 PM EST.

Siborg has been offering test equipment for SMT since the early 2000's when they initiated the creation of Smart Tweezers. Since then Siborg has created their line, the LCR-Reader; the first model is offered as a lower-cost alternative to other tweezer meters. The designed combines a set of tweezers with a multimeter; when a component is in contact with the probes, the device will automatically determine the type of component and best test parameters to use, no set-up required.

Since the release of LCR-Reader, Siborg has gone on to create the LCR-Reader-MP and LCR-Reader-MPA devices. LCR-Reader-MPA is the premium model in the LCR-Reader family with 0.1% basic accuracy and wide range of features, including 100 kHz test signal frequency, super cap testing, oscilloscope, easy short/open calibration and offset parasitic removal, signal generator mode, frequency meter and more.

The newest model in the line is the LCR-Reader-MPA-BT, a Bluetooth enabled model with the ability to remotely record measurement values in real-time. Windows and Android users connect to the device and open the LCR-MPA-BT-Logger program. The main feature of the program is the custom component test profiles and automatic pass/fail assessment. Users set custom profiles with values they expect the component to meet; after testing, the program will determine if the component meets the set standards or not, granting a pass or fail. This removes all guess work or manual comparing; the program displays red if a component fails, making it extremely efficient for fast-paced work. (https://www.LCR-Reader.com/lcrmpabt.html)

Other devices available in the sale include:
-Smart Tweezer ST-5S ST5S-BT with 0.2% basic accuracy, LCR/ESR measurements, diode/continuity testing, selectable test signal levels, offset removal and more (https://www.smarttweezers.us)
-Task Kits: pre-bundled devices with various accessories for LCR-Reader, Smart Tweezers and LCR-Reader-MPA
-LCR-Reader-CT recently released Ring Coil Tester
-LCR-Reader Kelvin Probe Connector a shielded two-wire connection set that can turn LCR-Reader and Smart Tweezers devices into a probe station

The LCR-Reader Store (https://secure.LCR-Reader.com/catalog) offers the full range of Siborg’s test equipment, including replacement parts. The sale goes until the end of October 31st at 11:59PM EST.
