The SPA at Andaz Wall Street Reopens with Expanded In-Room Offerings and Announces New Farm-to- Table Treatments

NEW YORK, NY (March 20, 2012) – Andaz Wall Street, located in lower Manhattan, launches a new collection of seasonal, farm-to-table spa treatments, luxurious in-room spa services and dual, time saving treatments at The SPA at Andaz Wall Street. The seasonal treatments incorporate farm-fresh ingredients sourced from the Andaz Farmers Market and the Hudson Valley such as strawberries, cucumbers, honeydew and more. The in-room services transform guest rooms into full multi-sensory spa environments and offer the option to receive simultaneous treatments. All services are designed to ensure a busy Wall Street clientele can receive the highest quality treatments in a “New York Minute.”

The SPA at Andaz Wall Street’s new signature treatments were inspired by and sometimes sourced from Andaz Wall Street’s on-property Farmers’ Market, featuring locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. Guests can welcome the warmer months with a fresh cucumber, honeydew and shea butter body polish or transition into summer with an energizing facial featuring fresh strawberries, bee pollen and honey. The treatments rotate frequently and are only offered for couple weeks at a time, to ensure the ingredients are always at their peak.

Redefining room service, The SPA at Andaz Wall Street offers Suite Spa Cart, a mobile spa cart that transforms guest rooms into tranquil spa environments. The cart comes fully equipped with all the amenities found in a traditional day spa. In a matter of minutes, the hotel room’s lights are dimmed, candles are lit and soft music plays in the background. Guests may experience a variety of luxurious treatments alone or as couples treatments in the comfort of their own room. Offerings include massages, herbal wraps, facials, manicures and pedicures. Additionally, The SPA at Andaz Wall Street will book in-room, after-hours appointments upon request to accommodate the weary traveler.

The SPA at Andaz Wall Street was designed with the busy Wall Street clientele in mind offering customizable, dual treatments such as facials while receiving a pedicure, synchronized manicures and pedicures or combining a 15 minute facial with makeup application and a blowout before heading out on the town. In addition, guests may order lunch or dinner with their treatment from the hotel’s farm-t0-table restaurant, Wall & Water. The cuisine may be enjoyed during the treatment or packed to-go. All services ensure that guests will look and feel their best in a “New York Minute.”

The SPA at Andaz Wall Street also welcomes large parties to enjoy the in-room treatments. Guests may book the Andaz Wall Street Buttonwood Suite for celebratory occasions such as bachelorette parties, birthdays or bridal showers and will accommodate up to 20 people. The SPA at Andaz Wall Street recognizes that not every member of a party desires identical treatments and offers customized, dual package options. Guests may choose to book individualized services ranging from an express manicure and pedicure to a custom facial, massage, body wrap and more.

“We are very excited to be bringing the Andaz farm-to-table ethos into The SPA,” says Carol J. Castillo, manager of The SPA at Andaz Wall Street. “Our new seasonal treatment menu is designed to nourish the weary traveler and with our signature spa cart, guests will be able to enjoy the full menu from the convenience of their hotel room.”

The SPA at Andaz Wall Street Overview
The SPA at Andaz Wall Street is an urban oasis nestled in the center of Manhattan’s bustling Financial District, and offers an intimate retreat from the harried pace of Wall Street. Equipped with two treatment rooms and offering the entire menu in-room, The SPA at Andaz Wall Street caters to people that are constantly “on-the-go” and never have enough time to relax, restore, and recharge. Additionally, guests may personalize the menu by choosing the time they have to devote to a treatment, from 15 minutes to an hour and a half, and the area they wish to focus on, from head to toe. In a witty nod to the Wall Street neighborhood, the shorter treatments are called SHARES and longer ones STOCKS.

The SPA at Andaz Wall Street is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am – 7 pm, Saturday from 12 pm – 7 pm and by appointment only on Sunday and Monday.
