Agnieszka Hekiert - Jazz and more - SOULNATION

Friends of jazz can expect excellent live music with Agnieszka Hekiert & Band on 17 October 2020 at 19:30 at the Jazz Festival in Biała Podlaska, organised by Jarosław Michaluk, President of the Jazz Association Biała Podlaska.

Agnieszka Hekiert plays songs from her latest album SOULNATION, which she composed together with the Bulgarian virtuoso Konstantin Kostov (piano). They are accompanied by Paweł Panta (bass) and Patryk Dobosz (drums).

After Night & Day Swing and Stories, SOULNATION is Agnieszka Hekiert's third album. This is how Agnieszka presents her work: "SOULNATION is a story about us, about people, about our beautiful souls, about the fact that we are all energetically connected to each other, we come from one source. We were created as perfect beings, we are loved without limits, we always have the free choice of how we want to live.
... we get the earthly garment for about 100 years and then we go back to the source, ... On Creation Day we are all perfect, so let us perceive beauty, send a smile, love the rain, make our reality a paradise on earth.”

For over a decade Agnieszka has been working with many international musicians.

Agnieszka performed with jazz singer Bobby McFerrin in his project "VOCAbuLarieS". Bobby's influence can easily be seen in Agnieszka's improvisation parts and in the interaction with the audience.
Bobby about Agnieszka: "She has music in her body".

Marek Niedźwiecki says: "Jazz with an exclamation mark" and Rhiannon is enthusiastic: "She is a great singer."

The editor of the Süddeutsche Zeitung writes: "Unbelievable vocal artistry and phrasing", "Her music is great cinema for the ears" and "Jazz atmosphere of the finest kind, from which you as a listener can't get enough”

Agnieszka says about herself: "...on stage I simply feel fulfilled and I feel that here is my 'centre of the world'... here my soul gets wings..."

Agnieszka Hekiert & Band will make the souls of the listeners of Biała Podlaska Jazz Festival fly with SOULNATION.
