MBtech Group exhibits at the Aircraft Interiors Expo for the first time
The MBtech Group has developed a four-cylinder common rail diesel engine together with the aircraft manufacturer, Diamond Aircraft
The MBtech Group demonstrates its engineering and consulting know-how for the first-time at this year's Aircraft Interiors Expo from 27th to 29th March 2012 in Hamburg, Germany. At the world's largest and most important aircraft interiors exhibition visitors will discover how MBtech transfers methodical and technological competencies from the automotive branch to the aerospace sector.
What are an aircraft engine and a pickup study doing at an aircraft interiors exhibition? At the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2012 the MBtech Group utilizes these two exhibits to demonstrate how the automotive and aerospace branches can learn from each other. Functional safety and reliability are extremely important in the aerospace branch and also form the basis for today's standards in the automotive sector, for example. In contrast, the aerospace branch can profit from the lean processes developed by the automotive industry as a result of the large volumes and price pressure.
The MBtech Group's presentation focus addresses some of the major current issues in the automotive sector:
